What happens when the audience gets to decide what a musical sings about? Music Improv Theatre Sointi conjures a unique musical from the audience's suggestions – the story, songs and music are created in the moment, right here and now. The audience provides the inspiration, but no one knows the outcome in advance – not even the performers! Come and experience a fully improvised musical!

Improvisation Taster Workshop

After the show, you're welcome to stay and try improvisation in a relaxed and encouraging workshop – no previous experience is needed! Sointi's improv instructors will gently introduce you to improvisation through easy exercises, games and playful group activities. We'll practise listening, presence, reacting, interaction and letting go, as well as trusting yourself and your own ideas. Come just as you are and give yourself permission to try something new – there's nothing you need to know or be able to do beforehand!

Performers

Sointi's performers are professionals and experienced artists from the fields of music, dance and theatre. In addition to the singing actors, the music and soundscape of the performances are improvised live by a keyboard player and a drummer. The audience plays a central role in the improvised performances, as each show is unique and shaped by the suggestions given by the audience.
